è un ottimo IDE per lo sviluppo (in ambiente Linux) di pagine web, presenta le funzioni di auto completamento del codice , evidenziatore di sintassi in base al linguaggio selezionato, realizzazione anche in WYSIWYG (ciò che vedi è ciò che ottieni) , supporto di plugin ed estensioni realizzate da terzi, l'ide è completamente customizzabile.

E' insomma un valido strumento sotto ambiente linux per la realizzazione di pagine web.

Safari è un browser web di casa Apple, sviluppato sia per permettere agli utenti Mac Os X di poter navigare in rete, sia per gli utenti Windows.
Tra le caratteristiche vi sono un accesso migliore ai link preferiti, un sistema per bloccare le fastidiose pop-up , la ormai diffusa navigazione su più pannelli , un sistema di riempimento automatico dei moduli , gestione di rss , in pratica possiede quasi tutte le caratteristiche che un browser deve possedere oggi. Da segnalare anche un sistema per una gestione migliore dei colori.

Opera è un browser web gratuito e molto potente , giunto alla sua versione 9.51 Opera si presenta con tutte le caratteristiche già viste in altri browser (come l'uso di più schede su ogni finestra e la riga di ricerca rapida sui più importanti motori di ricerca) ma con migliorie fatte nel campo della sicurezza e nella rapidità di visualizzare le pagine.
